Charity & Gift Aid
We are a registered charity and can enhance your giving by claiming back gift aid. To keep campsite hire fees to a minimum (especially for groups who might otherwise be unable to come) we rely heavily on gifts to the Trust. Over recent years we have undertaken large projects to improve the site for the years to come. We are encouraged by the increasing numbers of visitors each year and those who become Christians or deepen their faith as a result of their group staying at the campsite.
In 2009 we had a new dining room built. In 2010 we had a new sewerage treatment plant installed. For 2012 we have had a new, much larger toilet and shower block built. The new building has separate toilet and wet room for disabled guests. The male toilet and shower room has 6 showers, 6 toilet cubicles, urinals and wash basins. The female toilet and shower room has 6 showers, 8 toilet cubicles and wash basins.
For summer 2016 we had work finished on a new sports hall which has 4 badminton oourts, Futsal (a variation on indoor football) and netball courts with nets.
In 2019 we had a new swimming pool enclosure and fence errected. The enclosure has really enhanced the swimming pool. We also had 6 new cabins (some divided in to two rooms so a additional 10 bedrooms) built for additional sleeping accommodation.
During lockdown in 2020 we took to opportunity to undertake various maintneance jobs and had three large buildings repainted. We look forward to welcoming groups back to the site as soon as be are able.
