The seaside resorts of Felixstowe or Frinton are about half an hour�s drive away. This makes for a pleasant day out for the campers. There are also plenty of other attractions and tourist sites in the area to visit, including Alton Water, Flatford and Dedham where boats are available for hire. Colchester Zoo and Colchester Castle are within a short driving distance too.
